Tea Time Parties

Tea Time Parties 

Tea Parties at the Art Box are full of fun! We work in collaboration with Uptown Tea Shop to create a memorable, contemporary tea party experience, while keeping it low stress for you! 

 

Our contemporary tea parties are available for ages 5+ and include tea, fancy (but kid-friendly) snacks, dress up, an art project of your choice and group photo!  We will customize your tea party to suit your group’s age, size and preferences.  For our youngest tea party friends, we will include a story time, whereas older children tend to enjoy the extra time to work on their art project! 

 

As a parent, you will get to enjoy the experience, too!  We will lead the party through each exciting step, so you can soak up this time with your child.  We will take a group photo for you to remember this special occasion and text you the image.  Plus, we will take care of the clean up afterwards (huge bonus!!)

How it Works

As your guests arrive, they can put their gifts on our presents table and gather in the art studio. We will provide step-by-step instructions to your group as they create the signature art project of your choice. While the artwork dries, guests will get to play dress up with our colorful assortment of hats, gloves and jewelry! Once properly dressed for the occasion, guest will be served tea and treats accompanied by story book time or an age-appropriate etiquette lesson.  We will conclude the party with a group photo!  Then, you can leave all the clean-up to us!

Signature Art Projects

Select from our signature tea party ceramic or canvas painting projects!  These are our most popular tea-party themed art projects!  We can help you select the best project for your age group and preferences.  We can also create a custom canvas design to match your party theme for a one-time fee of $30.

Dress Up

All party guests will get to dive into our dress up box full of colorful hats, strings of pearls, fancy gloves, feather boas and other accessories that sparkle and shine!  Once properly attired, our party guests will enjoy an age appropriate story time or etiquette lesson, followed by tea and treats!

Tea and Treats

You and your guests will be served tea and treats by our staff.  Our fancy, yet kid-friendly tea party menu has been thoughtfully designed, but please let us know of any dietary restrictions or food-allergies so we can try to best accommodate your needs.

  • Black tea with milk, honey or sugar

  • Fruit sticks

  • Cupcakes

  • Min PB&J sandwiches (Nutella substitute available by request)

Optional:  Cookies (can be added for an additional $1 per guest)

Substitutions for food-allergies are available.  Please speak with Dani from Uptown Tea Shop about any special dietary needs for your group.

Group Photo

We will gather the group while they are dressed up and snap a group photo.  We will share the group photo with you via text!

Book Your Tea Time Party

Three easy steps to confirm your tea party date:

  1. Request: Complete the Book Your Party Form to request your date and time

  2. Confirm: We will contact you to confirm your date and time and answer any questions.  

  3. Finalize: To officially book your date and time, pay the room reservation fee from the invoice we email you.

 

The Room Reservation Fee is $50 per room.  We offer three party room and can comfortably host 10-12 kids per room! For example, if you have 12 kids, then you will only need one room for $50.  The room reservation fee includes, private use of the studio for 1.5-2 hours (depending on the age group), a dedicated instructor in each room, a party table for gifts, and we will take care of all the clean-up for you!
